| Q-
In 360-degree feedback, what is meant by numerical and written
comments?
A- The 360-degree feedback report
is compiled through the use of a survey which asks for numerical
ratings (1-5) as well as written comments in key management
areas: communication, planning, coaching/teamwork, reviewing,
and leading.
Q-
What makes this a 12-month program?
A- Performex begins the program
with 360-degree feedback. This feedback allows Performex to
tailor a three-day workshop to meet individual needs of your
managers. Our ongoing follow-up after the workshop includes
a summary report and a consultation 1-2 months following the
workshop, and a one-day Follow-up Workshop 3-4 months later.
These components of the program offer ongoing support and
ensure maximum management effectiveness back on the job. The program concludes with a twelve-month resurvey and a final coaching session with the supervising manager to track success and compare results for further development.
Q-
How do I begin?
A- Just
go to "Contact Us"
on this website and fill in your name and information so we
can contact you or give us a call at (949) 759-1928 to reserve
a workshop date.
Q-
What is the workshop daily schedule?
A- Just
go to "Workshop Daily Schedule"
on this website for the complete schedule of both the 3-day
workshop and the 1-day follow-up workshop.
Q-
How much of what I say gets back to my company?
A- Only the participant and Performex
see the feedback report. What is discussed in the workshop
is held in strictest confidence. We create a safe environment
where you can maximize your strengths and find solutions to
your challenge areas. You and your Performex consultant will
then discuss the insights you gained and the goals you set
for yourself during the workshop with your supervising manager
to encourage coaching throughout the program.
Q-
How long does the survey take to complete?
A- Most respondents report that
time spent answering the survey questions is 20-40 minutes,
depending upon the length of written comments.
Q-
What kind of information do you give my managing supervisor?
A- You are the only one to receive
the feedback report. Your supervising manager is brought into
your program during a post-workshop consultation to ensure
support for your success.
Q-
How many days is the follow-up workshop?
A- The follow-up workshop is
a one-day workshop held at the Balboa Bay Club and Resort
in Newport Beach, CA. This is the opportunity to refresh management
concepts and review your progress on your goals and share
successes. You will also be given new skills to enhance communication
and teamwork back on the job.
